Whats up Lazer Turkey here to talk about the Bad Dudes Welcome party. It was held in the Beer Garden and started off well with everyone blind from intoxication. This lead quickly to the idea of a naked run through the Stockades, then Gnomer. Even drunk and unarmed Bad Dudes tore it up. So thanks for the turn out all and keep checking back for future events.

Bad Dudes in History

I know most of you think, well there can not be any people on earth cooler then Team Bad Dudes, well your right but there have been many members to the team over the years. Here is a look at different people who had earned Bad dudes decoder rings.
How did Mr. Kool-Aid make the team. Easy, think of it like this, sure he could just make you a nice tall glass of kool-aid and bring it to you, but he instead chose to run through the wall of your house screaming randomy and serve you with a nice tall glass of shut the F* up.

The First BDN10?

Bad Dudes assemble!

According to WOW Heroes, all the Bad Dudes listed on this page are geared enough to be running Naxx 10 (In fact for all of us it is considered to be an easy instance). Due to this I am looking for interest in possibly putting together the first Bad Dudes Naxx 10 run this weekend. Granted, this will only go ahead if everybody is interested and we may not do more than just Arachnid quarter depending on how well things go. Afterall this is a learning experience and most of us have not done these fights yet and I don't want anyone to get discouraged. We have some leeway on who we can take with us due to some of us being geared enough for Naxx 25, so some of the lower geared guild 80's can go without much of a problem.

I have talked to a few of you about this. I have recieved interest from Omni, Cordia, Ankleblaster (who should be added here), and Aletia. Dwavel has just hit 80 so he hopefully may be interested as well and we can run him through heroics this week in order to get him some gear to be better suited for it. If we can't get any drops for him and he still wants to go though, I think the rest of us will balance this out and we may be able to pick up some stuff in the process to pimp out our shamany friend.

Let me know if everyone is interested through the comments here and if so, I'll start networking and planning to set this up. Hopefully we can start getting ourselves all Naxxed out.

Heroic Halls of Lightning Pwned

In a flurry of violence and bravado, Machete Squad tore through Halls of Lightning and completely crushed Loken beneath our bloodied weapons. This is just totally bragging here, but I would just like to note that we had a perfect run, having no wipes and getting every achievement available in one run. I consider this a total example of Bad Dudery and I hope everyone else has had just as good of experiences.

President Ronnie owes us a hamburger.

Cheers all!

Loot Systems for Raiding

With us getting closer and closer to the inevitable day of doing 10 mans I think the discussion over what loot system to use needs to begin now.

I know we have a few people that don't like DKP, me being one of them, so I assume it's totally out, and good riddance.

This leaves us with 3 possible systems to use, each has various positives and negatives, these are listed in order of my personal favorite to least favorite based on research:

1. Suicide Kings - A loot list is created using whatever method we choose (random rolls is the most common) the person at the top of the list gets first choice on any drops that benefit them, if they pass it goes down the list. When you take some thing you name immediatly drops to the bottom of the list. This is generally the most even and fair system for making sure everyone gets something.

2. Loot Council - In this one a council (one person or a group) decides who should get specific drops based on group need, normally this is done by a lead in specific roles (DPS/Heal/Tank). This system can be the most beneficial for the group as a whole, but can lead to problems of favoritism or preceived favoritism and can be hard on group morale if things end up in fights.

3. Roll System - The standard in game roll system but no the need/greed system, uses Loot Master and /random or /roll. This system is okay in some ways but can lead to problems of uneven gear distribution based on some people just not having luck with the roller.

I'd say Need/Greed should be completely 100% out, mainly because if someone accidentally clicks need or greed it can screw others or themselves outta loot. I don't think we'll have a problem per se with people rolling on things they dont need or that are only minor upgrades but it also protects against that. Also In the event we have to PUG someone, being used to Need/Greed could lead to alot of people getting screwed outta loot or us having to stop to kick someone for needing on something and find a replacement.

I know this can be sticky ground, but you all know I'm not afraid to venture into those areas waving a club around until we hit something useful, I just want to make sure that whatever we go with we stick with and everyone get's what they need and noone feels like they're never going to get anything. My favorite idea is to use a slightly modified version of Suicide kings and keep a chart for different types of items (Tier Pieces only have the people with those drops on the list, BoE/Sellable items have everyone, etc) and keep multiple lists, granted this is more book keeping but I wouldn't mind it for the overall benefit of being even with loot.
