The Calling of the Divinity

Ages ago, this chosen warrior of the Divinity (or a bunch of light based aliens) was just a humble mail-wearing paladin. I traveled from place to place carrying the word of my faith and cleansing what parts of the land that I could from the taint of evil. I made many friends and learned from the experiences and butt-whuppings that I endured, lessons from the light I suppose. I made my lifelong friends: shape-changing elves that marveled me with technological gadgets and attunement with nature; giant space goats who astounded me with their god-like ability to deal death to their foes; and dwarves of low stature but with a massive tolerance for alcohol and for pain. I fell among them and began to fit in for a unified quest to make the world a better place.

Then I met the bastard Horde, the unclean. I was stalked by Blood elves who had taken the power of the divinity forcefully from the Naaru and defiled it and then used it for perverse purposes. I grew bitter as my purpose in life started to unfold. The first part of my Holy quest would to be to take back the Divinity from those who would dare touch it with hands stained of evil. However this was not to be my only role in life, and not the one that would call me to my current standing.

This would come from an journey into the Old Kingdom where me and my powerful comrades put an end to a cult of insanity. It was at this time that we realized that for all the damage and pain that we could inflict upon evil, we were lacking something. Then we realized that the thing we were lacking was a son of a bitch tough enough to take a beating and distract all of our foes so that the others could deal their ways of death with no interruption. With a chorus of divine Naaru ringing in my head, I knew what I was destined to do. I was to become the "Dude Bad Enough to Survive". Then with my comrades, those "Dudes Bad Enough to Kill Everything", and "Dude Bad Enough to tell Mr. Death 'Suck it, we're not coming with you, i'm keeping everyone alive'", we set out on our new journey to Rock this world like a hurricane of pain and to look badass while doing it.

If you stand between us and our goal, may the Divinity have mercy on your wretched soul.
